Deidra

Registered Veterinary Technician

Deidra was born in Ottawa, but spent most of her years growing up in Quispamsiss N.B where she discovered her passion for animals at an early age through horseback riding and caring for numerous family pets. She worked at several veterinary practices as a Veterinary Assistant before deciding to attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. It was here where she met her now husband Dr. Will and graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Deidra brings her passion and attention to detail to the HPVH team with over 10 years of experience as a practicing Veterinary Technician, as well as experience teaching the RVT curriculum.

Deidra lives in Upper Tantallon with her husband William. Outside of the hospital, she if often found spending her time at the barn with her horse Geneva or cuddling with their new puppy Ever and their adopted cat Philip.
